The American College of Radiology has designated CMH as an accredited lung cancer screening center. This designation means CMH meets the top standards for patient care in the screening for lung cancer set by the American College of Radiology and that CMH has been accredited in CT scans of the chest.
To earn the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program designation, CMH’s Bariatric Weight Loss Center met essential criteria for staffing, training and facility infrastructure and protocols for care, ensuring its ability to support patients with severe obesity, including patients under the age of 18.
The Breast Center located at Community Memorial Hospital has become the first medical facility in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties to be designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.

Ojai Valley Community Hospital obtained a new federal designation by DNV, known as a Critical Access Hospital, which recognizes the criticality of the hospital and now allows the facility to receive a more favorable Medicare reimbursement providing greater financial stability.
Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura and Ojai Valley Community Hospital in Ojai have achieved national accreditation from DNV Healthcare, the newest and first Medicare-approved hospital accreditation program that integrates the ISO 9001 quality management system with the Medicare hospital standards.
The American Heart Association and American Stroke Association recognize this hospital for achieving 85% or higher compliance with all Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Quality Measures and 75% or higher compliance with five or more Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Quality Measures for 12 consecutive months and achieving Time to Intravenous Thrombolytic Therapy ≤ 60 minutes in 75% or more of applicable acute ischemic stroke patients treated with IV tPA to improve quality of patient care outcomes.
