The annual Nightingale Ball, held in November, is the centerpiece of the Ojai Valley Community Hospital Foundation Guild's fund-raising year, an elegant evening of music, dancing, fine dining and a live auction of quality prizes. In its first five years, the event raised almost $500,000 for improvements at the Ojai Valley Community Hospital.

Annual Appeal Campaigns
The Foundation conducts two annual appeals – a year end Holiday Appeal and a Spring Appeal. All funds received from these appeals are directed toward such hospital enhancements as new equipment and patient care improvements.

October Classic
The accent is on fitness and quality of life in this weekend run-walk event over 5 and 10 kilometers, with separate age divisions competing for pride and prizes. Entrants represent a broad spectrum of ages and physical prowess.
