Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation’s Benefactors’ Ball Raises $75,000 to Go Toward New Hospital
Ventura California, 10/09/2009
The 37th annual Benefactors’ Ball on Oct. 3 raised nearly $75,000, with the proceeds going toward the building of a new Community Memorial Hospital.
Over 170 attended the black-tie gala, sponsored by the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation and held at the Embassy Suites Hotel Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard. They included Gary Wilde, Community Memorial Health System President and CEO, and Dr. Martin Pops, Chairman of the Board of CMHS, in addition to scores of CMHS medical staff members and their spouses.
Also on hand were local business leaders and community members.
The Benefactors’ Ball represents an opportunity for residents to support community-based healthcare. Every year hospital and community leaders from all over Ventura County gather for a night of dining, live music and dancing.
