First 2010 Seminar to Focus on Women’s Issues

Community Memorial Health System kicks off its 2010 seminar series with a free seminar on disorders of the female urinary and genital tract on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 in the eighth-floor Nichols Auditorium at Community Memorial Hospital.
Jill Hall, M.D., a Ventura obstetrician/gynecologist who specializes in Urogynecology, will lead the public education program from 6 to 8 p.m. Dr. Hall will review in laymen’s terms the subjects of vaginal looseness, prolapse and leakage of urine. She also will discuss options on how to medically and surgically manage these benign disorders that women rarely talk about.
Dr. Hall, who is on staff at Community Memorial Hospital, earned her medical degree at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine. She completed her Obstetric and Gynecology residency at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and received a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
