CMH Art Exhibit & Reception to Show Local Works of Summer Scenes
Ventura, California, 05/29/2009
Paintings and drawings of summer scenes by local artists will be on display for public viewing at Community Memorial Hospital throughout the summer when the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation presents “Lazy Hazy Days of Summer.”
Throughout the year the art exhibit will change with new art works being displayed presenting a new theme. The latest exhibit runs June 16 through Sept. 11 in the hospital’s first-floor lobby. This ongoing effort brings an improved aesthetic appearance to CMH as well as soothing images for patients, families, guests and staff to enjoy.
An art reception featuring the latest exhibit is set for Tuesday, June 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. While this event is open to the public, reservations are requested by calling 805/652-5385, or visit www.cmhhealth.org/rsvp.
The exhibit is a joint partnership between CMH, Buenaventura Art Association, the Ventura Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Ventura, and the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation.
Each piece of art is for sale, with proceeds going towards maintenance of the program, local artists, Buenaventura Art Association, and philanthropic support of your hospital through the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation.
