CMH Art Reception & Exhibit of local works with "Anything Goes" theme
Ventura, California, 09/03/2009
Paintings and drawings from the “Anything Goes” exhibit will be on display at Community Memorial Hospital starting in September. The artwork is presented by Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation along with a reception presenting the new theme.
Throughout the year the art exhibits change. Each exhibit includes new art with a new theme. The latest exhibit runs September 16 through December 6 in the hospital’s first-floor lobby. This ongoing effort brings an improved aesthetic appearance to CMH as well as soothing images for patients, families, guests and staff to enjoy.
An art reception featuring the latest exhibit is set for Tuesday, September 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. While this event is open to the public, reservations are requested by calling 805/641-3970, or visit www.cmhshealth.org/rsvp.
The exhibit is a joint partnership between CMH, Buenaventura Art Association, the Ventura Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Ventura, and the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation.
Each piece of art is for sale, with proceeds going towards maintenance of the program, local artists, Buenaventura Art Association, and philanthropic support of your hospital through the Community Memorial Healthcare Foundation.
