Seminar to Focus on Advances on Sinusitis

Sinus infection, also called sinusitis, will be the focus of a free informational seminar that Community Memorial Health System is holding on Tuesday, March 9.
Edgar Lueg, M.D., of Ear Nose Throat & Sinus Specialists of Ventura, will lead the seminar that will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the eighth-floor Nichols Auditorium at Community Memorial Hospital, located at 147 Brent St. in Ventura.
Dr. Lueg, who specializes in Otolaryngology, will discuss the latest treatment options for sinusitis, including sinus sprays; pills and the Neti pot; endoscopic sinusotomy; balloon sinuplasty; and when to consider sinus surgery.
Dr. Lueg earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto and also received advanced fellowship training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is an active member of the Community Memorial Hospital medical staff.
