CMHS Seminar on Sept. 24 to Focus on Arthritis

Living with arthritis will be the focus of a free seminar Community Memorial Health System is holding on Saturday, Sept. 24.
Tammy Cheng, M.D., a Rheumatologist who specializes in joint pain as well as autoimmune conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, will lead the seminar that will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Soule Park banquet room at 1033 East Ojai Ave in Ojai.
Dr. Cheng will cover the causes of arthritis as well as the treatment options available. She also will delve into possible lifestyle changes for patients with chronic joint pain.
Dr. Cheng, a member of both Ojai Valley Community Hospital and Community Memorial Hospital medical staffs, received her medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
