CMH Auxiliary holds Luncheon to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Why: Annual Awards Luncheon will also mark 50th Anniversary
Community Memorial Hospital’s Auxiliary is celebrating its 50th anniversary at an Annual Awards Luncheon and Installation on Friday, February 10, 2012. Special guests include Gary Wilde, President and CEO; Gary Wolfe, Board of Trustee representative; Michael Ellingson, Vice President of Development & Marketing; Dr. Marc Beaghler, Chief of Staff; and Dr. William Hart, author and historian and Board of Trustee member.
During the luncheon, a presentation of awards will take place for those auxiliary members who have reached 100 hours to 17,000 hours of service. Also receiving special recognition will be members who have volunteered for 20 years and 40 years of service.
Originally, the CMH Auxiliary was started in 1962. It has evolved over the past 50 years and today there are now 250 active members who volunteer on a scheduled basis. Over the past 50 years, the Auxiliary has donated a total of $3,178,002.90 to Community Memorial Hospital. The mission statement of the Auxiliary pledges to be for the benefit of patients and they have demonstrated this throughout 50 years of service not only to the hospital, but to the community.
