Community Memorial Health System Honors Employees

Community Memorial Health System honored 370 employees at its annual Employee Recognition Dinner, including one employee with 50 years of service, one with 40 years and six others who celebrated their 35th anniversary with CMHS.
CMHS recognized scores of employees at the event who together have cared for patients and supported healthcare in a variety of jobs at Community Memorial Hospital and Ojai Valley Community Hospital, as well as at CMHS’s twelve Centers for Family Health offices in Ventura County. This year’s awards banquet was held June 15 at the Ventura Beach Marriott.
Richard Arth, Director of Engineering in the Engineering Department was especially honored for his 50 years of service with CMHS, while Carol Fisher, Unit Secretary on the 5th Floor was also honored for 40 years.
Margaret Brown, RN III, in Ojai’s Out Patient Care Center; Cila Cisarik, Business System Analyst in Information System; Moraima Estrada, Food Services Coordinator in Food Services Central; Elizabeth Rich, Specialty Surgery Tech in Same Day Surgery; Pamela Schierman, RN III in ED and Maternal Child; and Judith Streamer RN IV in Same Day Surgery were honored for 35 years of service.
Nineteen employees were recognized for 30 years of service, another seventeen employees were recognized for 25 years of service and scores of others were thanked for 20 years, 15 years, 10 years and five years of service to the hospitals and community health centers.
In addition to a welcome by CEO & President Gary Wilde, speakers at the event included Gary L. Wolfe for the Board of Trustees, as well as Dr. Stan Frochtzwajg for the Medical Staff.
