FREE Flu Vaccinations Available October and November
Ventura, California, 10/10/2012
Through the months of October and November Community Memorial Health System is offering Free Flu vaccinations at a variety of the Centers for Family Health locations.
The free vaccinations, co-sponsored by the Ventura County Public Health Department, are for the seasonal flu and will incorporate the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccination. Vaccinations are encouraged for those most vulnerable to catching the flu, including people:
- Over 60 years old
- With chronic medical conditions
- Pregnant women
- Healthcare personnel who provide direct patient care
- Children 6 months to 5 years old (need two visit);
- Caregivers of children under 6 months old.
The flu clinics are located throughout Western Ventura County at the Center for Family Health at 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the following Saturdays:
Camarillo - 422 A&B – Arneill Road
Fillmore - 852 Ventura St.
Oxnard - 3641 W. 5th St.
Ventura - 138 W. Main St. #E
Oak View - 655 N. Ventura Ave
Oxnard - 2921 S. Saviers Rd.
Port Hueneme - 321 E. Port Hueneme Rd.
Oxnard - 2361 E. Vineyard Ave.
Ventura - 120 N. Ashwood Ave.
No appointment is necessary. Vaccines will be available while supplies last. For questions call the Center for Family Health 805/585-3090.
