Oral Rehabilitation in One Day the Focus of Seminar on Feb. 25

Advances in oral rehabilitation technology will be the focus of a free seminar the Community Memorial Health System is holding on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Hooman M. Zarrinkelk, DDS, and Saj Jivraj, DDS, will lead the seminar that will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the eighth-floor Nichols Auditorium at Community Memorial Hospital, located at 147 N. Brent St. Individuals who suffer from tooth loss may suffer from many health issues as well as a decreased quality of life. That is why Community Memorial Health System is holding a seminar, where local oral surgeons will explain and demonstrate new techniques where patients are treated without any bone grafting procedures and given a complete fixed set of dentition in one day. Teeth that function and appear as your natural teeth once did.
Dr. Zarrinkelk completed his dental degree at Loma Linda University and his surgical residency training with an emphasis on reconstructive jaw surgery. Dr. Zarrinkelk is an associate professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University and also maintains a private practice specializing in reconstructive jaw surgery and computer tomography-guided dental implant surgery.
Dr. Jivraj completed his dental degree at the University of Manchester in England and his advanced prosthodontic training at the University of Southern California. He is a part-time associate professor of Clinical Dentistry at USC and co-authored the book, “Treatment Planning in Implant Dentistry.” Dr. Jivraj also has given presentations both nationally and internationally on implant dentistry.
