Dr. Marc Beaghler Dr. Seyed Khoddami

Presented by Dr. Jason Hofer & Dr. Garrett Snyder

Dr. Jason Hofer is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at University of California – Irvine. Dr. Hofer is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and California Orthopedic Association.

Dr. Garrett Snyder received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Ohio and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College. Dr. Snyder is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Community Memorial Hospital Call to Artists – Deadline September 15, 2014

Community Memorial Health System building a new hospital

The Community Memorial Hospital Art Advisory Board is seeking Ventura County visual artists to submit artworks available for acquisition. The artworks will be considered for permanent placement in patient rooms of the newly constructed hospital scheduled for completion in summer of 2015.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Community Memorial Health System is incorporating original art throughout the multi-million dollar Community Memorial Hospital expansion. Works by regional, national and international artists will be featured throughout the facility. The Art Advisory Board’s objective is to create a permanent art collection that enhances

healing and is inspired by the beauty of our natural environment. With excellence as the goal, the future collection will emphasize art and artists in Ventura County and the Tri-counties region. For more information please download the call to artists and follow all submission guidelines.

Finalists will be selected upon review of their submitted qualifications and works. The artwork will be juried by members of the floor committees and reviewed and approved by the Art Advisory Board and the Architectural Oversight Committee for acquisition.

Dr. Marc Beaghler received his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, NE, and completed a urology residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, CA. He is the CMH Medical Director of Robotics and Co-Medical Director of the operating room and is a clinical professor of Urology at USC Keck School of Medicine.

Dr. Seyed Khoddami received his medical degree from the University of Tehran School of Medicine, Tehran, Iran and he completed a residency in urology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE. He is an expert at partial nephrectomies and robotic surgery and a clinical assistant professor of Urology at USC.
