Hospitalists at Ojai Valley Community Hospital

2014 Get with the guidelines - stroke honor roll silver

“We’re in tune with what’s going on at OVCH. If there is a unique situation that comes up, we’re the first one to treat the patient. The faster the treatment, the better the outcome.”

Local Community Members Enjoy a “Behind the Scenes” Day at CMH

Recently a group of county residents joined us for a special day visiting several of our physicians in their workplace.

The program called “Behind the Scenes” brings together small community groups that tour the facility and meet our physicians within the areas they practice; such as the operating room, catheterization lab, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  Attendees get an upclose and intimate view of the many services we offer directly from our physicians, who provide an educational overview as well as answer the numerous questions that follow.

The group on this day visited:  Drs. Dominic Tedesco and Lamar Bushnell, cardiothoracic surgeons; Dr. Gary Coppa, anesthesiologist; Dr. Thomas Kong, Jr., cardiologist; Dr. Ishu Rao, electrophysiologist; and Dr. Stan Frochtzwajg, chief medical officer.
