Maria Estrada was frustrated by the litany of doctors who simply prescribed her 83-year-old mother, Erlinda Palomares, antibiotics – which would only offer brief respites. Estrada said she saw an advertisement for the Camarillo Center for Women’s Health and decided to take her mother to the center on Arneill Road in hopes of finding a cure for Palomares’ chronic bladder infections.

WHAT DOCTORS FEEL:
Extraordinary Physician Stories

Everyday and everywhere, doctors collect stories. These stories reflect the profoundly human bond between those who are seeking help (patients) and those who wish to help (doctors). Sometimes these stories are funny or tragic, sometimes touching or just silly. But all of these stories are incredibly personal because they reflect the lessons we can learn about life, death, relationships and meaning. You won’t want to miss this extraordinary evening when four doctors share their personal stories about… well, you.

Featured Speakers: Dr. Jim Hornstein,<br /> Family Physician; Dr. Alison Shuman, Pediatrician; Dr. Gösta Iwasiuk, Surgeon and Dr. Jennifer Vinson, Resident.
