Dr. David Westra specializes in neurosurgery. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and completed a residency at the Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Westra is a member of the American Board of Neurological Surgery, and a member of the Community Memorial Hospital medical staff.

Please Join Us – Cornerstone Ceremony

Benefactors' Ball

Continuing a tradition that originated in the 1730s, the Masons of California will enact a ceremony to lay the symbolic first stone of the Community Memorial Hospital. This cornerstone ceremony will incorporate the tools of masonry – the square, level, and plumb – along with elements of corn and wheat (signifying plenty), wine (symbolizing joy), and oil (representing peace). CMH’s Dedrick Awarded Breastfeeding Coalition’s Liquid Gold Award

CMH’s New Parent Resource Center Coordinator, Sheila Dedrick recently recognized by the Breastfeeding Coalition of Ventura County (BCVC).

Community Memorial Hospital’s New Parent Resource Center Coordinator, Sheila Dedrick has been recognized as a professional in the community working to support breastfeeding families by the Breastfeeding Coalition of Ventura County (BCVC).

The BCVC honored Dedrick with its 2015 Liquid Gold Award during an award ceremony held at the Ventura County Board of Supervisors meeting on July 28. The Liquid Gold Award is an annual recognition by the Breastfeeding Coalition of Ventura County to an individual who has truly made a difference in the lives of families and our community by supporting breastfeeding through resources, education, services and networking.

Dr. Tricia Westhoff-Pankratz is a clinical endocrinologist specializing in thyroid disorders, diabetes, and pituitary diseases. She received her medical degree at The University of Southern California, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Westhoff-Pankratz is certified in ultrasound-guided thyroid aspirations, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine – Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
