The Keeler Center is much more than a headache clinic or clinical trial center. Our migraine specialists use every scientifically valid tool to identify all the elements that may contribute to your headache. Your customized treatment plan combines all the newest therapies to reduce the frequency and severity of migraines, as well as rescue medications for acute attacks.
This means that we develop your individual migraine management program using every logical and reasonable option. For example, in addition to 'Western' medicine resources, we may recommend holistic treatments by hospital-approved therapists, including physical therapy, biofeedback, acupuncture and yoga.
We work closely with the leading resource for migraine research.
The Keeler Center is also unique in that we are affiliated with Huntington Medical Research Institutes (HMRI) in Pasadena, California. HMRI's Molecular Neurology Program is an unsurpassed resource for migraine research and one that has end-benefits to Keeler Center patients.
Data gathered from patients who choose to take part in research programs are analyzed in the HMRI laboratory. What is learned will be applied to the treatment of Keeler Center patients; and they can take immediate advantage of newer and more effective developments in migraine treatment as they become available.
