the facility. Residents are
provided with nursing, medical,
nutritional, psychological, and
rehabilitative services.
The Continuing Care Center at
the Ojai Valley Community
Hospital is a 66 bed facility for
both short-term and long-term
placement. The unit provides
skilled nursing and rehabilitation
services daily for residents who
require an inpatient treatment
program with oversight provided
by a Medical Director.
Services include, but are not limited
to: internal feeding, rehabilitative
therapy, IV therapy, terminal
care, and post surgical care.
The Continuing Care Center is unique within the
valley as it is the only center connected to an acute
care hospital. No other facility in the Ojai Valley can offer this type of care.

Our Health Care Team
Physician
The attending physician will oversee your care while in our facility.
Nursing Services
Our nursing staff includes Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), who provide 24 hour care for our residents. Our RN's oversees IV treatments and the nursing care provided to your loved one. LVN's will administer medications, treatments, and regularly monitor the resident's overall condition. CAN's provide personal care, such as bath/shower, oral care and positioning.
Rehabilitation Services
As approved, treatments and education in the following areas are provided.
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Respiratory Therapy
Psychology Services
As prescribed, by your attending physician, a psychologist is available for consultation and resident treatment.
Dietary Services
Our on-staff Dietician will work with each resident in providing a diet that meets their medically prescribed needs, as well as any ethnic and/or
religious preferences.
Spiritual Services
Upon request, our staff is able to provide a listing of local spiritual care for our residents.
Financial Planning
Staff members are available to assist you with evaluating your financial options. A complete listing of covered services is available for your review.
