Our core curriculum is centered around the core competencies. It serves as an educational "road map" for our program, offering our residents an outline with which to approach their clinical rotations, and offering faculty guidance on which areas to emphasize as they work with residents to create and shape educational opportunities within our program.
Our curriculum is not a "to do" list, but rather a set of goals and objectives that change as our approach to teaching changes, and as we learn from our residents and students. It is intended to be a working document to help in the teaching and learning of high quality, evidence-based, cost conscious care. It continues to evolve as we create new rotations and arrange individual electives. We invite you to explore it as an educational resource.
