Cameryn Garrett, PhD
Cameryn Garrett, PhD attended Occidental College in Los Angeles and graduated with honors in psychobiology. She received a Masters of Women’s Health and PhD in Public Health from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her PhD investigated how new technologies can be used to improve patients’ health and well-being. Following graduation, she worked as a Research Fellow in the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne. She conducted qualitative and quantitative research with healthcare providers and young women to enhance access to healthcare services and improve health literacy. She returned to her hometown of Ventura in 2015 and is now involved in Graduate Medical Education research, program evaluation, and quality improvement projects at CMHS.
