Michael A. Cerasaro, D.O.
Dr. Michael A. Cerasaro (Mac) was born in northern Pennsylvania and was raised near Binghamton, New York. He graduated in 2015 from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. Prior to that he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from The College at Brockport, a State University of New York. Michael conducted cellular research in his undergraduate work, which helped further his curiosity and interest in the sciences, however it was this experience that allowed him to realize his passion was working with people. During medical school he had the opportunity to complete his core rotations at CMH and is eager to return to a growing program with plenty of opportunities to teach and learn. He grew up playing ice hockey and took to lacrosse and soccer later on. He enjoys reading (especially the work of psychologist Daniel Kahneman) and pretty much any activity with his two German shepherds, Frank and Lucy. Michael is considering to further his training with a Palliative Care fellowship, however has not ruled out any other medical subspecialties.
