Courtney Ramos, D.O.
Dr. Courtney Ramos was born and raised on the Central Coast of California. She moved to San Diego for undergraduate school, completing her degree in Cell Biology with a minor in History from Point Loma Nazarene University. She then worked for two years at a biotech company helping develop novel antibiotics before moving to Nevada to attend Touro University for medical school. It was the opportunity to apply the knowledge of science and physiology while working together with the patient to bring about whole health that she finds most rewarding in medicine. She believes in giving back to the community around her, and promises to treat each patient with value and respect.
Dr. Ramos will be joining Community Memorial Hospital, where she will complete her training in Internal Medicine. In addition to working as a Resident Physician, Dr. Ramos values spending time with her husband and family, often watching a sports games, usually baseball or soccer. She also tries to follow her own medical advice of being active, whether through Pilates, Yoga, TRX, or kettlebells, or better yet being outside enjoying God’s creation camping, hiking, kayaking or paddle-boarding.
