Around 6 million U.S. children ages 2 – 17 have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). For these young people, certain activities — such as completing schoolwork, participating in extracurricular activities and interacting with peers — may be more challenging. But with an accurate diagnosis, proper treatment plan and strong support network, children with ADHD can truly thrive. Dr. Heather Nichols

Dr. Heather Nichols received her medical degree from Drexel University of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Brown University Hasbro Children’s Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Nichols is an active member of the Community Memorial Hospital medical staff.
