Physical and occupational therapy can address a number of problems. Below is a list of more common diagnoses that we treat. While we can evaluate your injury, you must have a current prescription from a doctor in order to receive treatment.
Once you have a prescription from your doctor you will need to call 805/948-5063 to schedule an evaluation. Our friendly front desk staff will let you know what you will need to bring. Depending on the level of care required, every effort will be made to schedule your appointment as soon as possible.
The therapy team assesses the appropriateness and clinical necessity of therapy on an ongoing basis based on achievement of therapy goals. Physical therapy patient goals are formulated based on interactions with patients, families, and caregivers, physicians, nursing and appropriate ancillary staff.
When you return to your physician for a follow-up visit, your therapist will send a progress note. It is important that you let the therapist know when you are returning to see the doctor. If you do not have a follow-up appointment, the therapist will send a note when you have completed your rehabilitation.
